IDENTIFICATION   Both electronic and regular tickets require you to present a government issued photo ID for travel. Please contact your airline prior to departure to reconfirm your flights.
RECOMMENDED
CHECK IN
Domestic flights 1 - 1 1/2 hours, International flights 2 - 2 1/2 hours depending on time of day. Allow enough time for security.
BAGGAGE   Most airlines allow 2 checked bags and 1 carry on plus 1 personal bag (purse, laptop, brief case, etc.) per person.

The weight limits will vary however, as most domestic airlines restrict your checked luggage to 50 lbs. per bag. The largest checked bag may not exceed 62 linear inches (height+length+width). Additional fees will be incurred for excess weight or size.

Carry on limit is 45 linear inches (height+length+width) and 40 lbs. Your carryon bag and personal bag must fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat. If you have additional concerns please contact the airline directly.

All bags should be clearly marked with identification tags both inside and out.

Items not allowed in carry on: Any item with a sharp edge or point. Examples: Fingernail file, knitting needles, crochet hook, pocket knife, scissors, etc. These items should be packed in your checked bag. Security will confiscate if found. Visit the Transportation Security Administration for more information.
FILM / CAMERAS   These should be placed in your carryon bags. The x-ray machines for the checked bags will damage undeveloped film.
VALUABLES /
PRESCRIPTIONS
Medications, valuable jewelry, prescription glasses, etc. should all be carried with you in your carry on.

ADDITIONAL PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED WHEN TRAVELING OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES

NATURAL-BORN
US CITIZENS
Valid passport OR a 'certified', state-issued birth certificate (not hospital issued) and a valid 'government-issued' photo ID. Married or divorced women traveling under any name, other than what is printed on their documentation, ALSO need a marriage license or divorce decree.
MINORS UNDER
18 YEARS OF AGE
Special restrictions apply to minors under 18 years of age. Minors under 18 must travel with consent of both parents.

If minor is with one parent, that parent must hold a notarized letter of consent from absent legal parent or copy of legal document giving that parent sole custody.

If one parent is deceased, a copy of the death certificate is necessary.

If minor is without legal parents, a notarized letter of consent must be submitted by legal guardian.

All children under 18, including infants, need a birth certificate.
PASSPORT / VISA   In some cases a passport and visa may be mandatory. It is our recommendation that you carry a valid passport to all destinations outside of the United States, even though it may not be required. Passport and visa application forms can be mailed to you upon request. Travel requirements often change without notice. Visit the U.S. Department of State for current information.
INOCULATIONS / VACCINATIONS   Visit the National Center for Infectious Diseases, Travelers' Health for current information regarding inoculations and vaccinations.
